Venice: the Arsenale under the Stars

Venice by night, is a must! We have learned to recognize the marvels in Museums under the moonlight, but in the lagoon there is another night venture ready to offer Venice lovers a unique experience, this time located in the spaces of the marvelous Arsenale.

It’s called “Arsenale under the stars” and what’s to be expected is an evening tour inside the old naval shipyards in the ancient Marine Military. In fact thanks to the Institute of Military Maritime Studies initiatives, even this year it will be possible to visit these unique spaces that aren’t always so easily accessible.

Testimony to it’s continuous dedication in optimizing favorable occasions the splendid Arsenal district, the Marine Military, and the collaboration of the Association Amici dei Musei e Monumenti Veneziani, repeated once more an event appreciated by all residents and for all those who have to possibility to admire the extraordinary setting that is the Arsenale, especially at night when it is lit up.

Any excuse to explore Venice in a different way, or simply detour from the touristic route is a special occasion. The possibility to explore during “off hours” a historic area so important to the city and so complex (just think of all the areas exclusively reserved to the Biennale, Tese, Torre di Porta Nuova) This represents a perfect opportunity to learn and understand the marvelous city.
